Dr. Jorge A. Castellanos is a renowned interventional cardiologist and the Director of the Structural Heart Program at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. He specializes in structural heart disease interventions and has been instrumental in developing one of the busiest TAVR programs in the region. Dr. Castellanos received his medical degree from Universidad Dr. José Matías Delgado in El Salvador and completed his fellowship in Structural Heart Disease at Swedish Heart and Vascular in Seattle.

Dr. Castellanos has extensive experience in a variety of advanced cardiac procedures, including TAVR, MitraClip, and LAAO. He is actively involved in clinical research and has served as a principal investigator in several clinical trials. His research work has been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals, and he is a frequent speaker at national and international cardiology conferences.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Castellanos serves as a proctor and consultant for leading medical device companies, including Edwards Lifesciences and Abbott Structural Heart. He has been recognized for his contributions to cardiology with several awards, including Chief of Cardiology Section at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center.
